LDS Official Says Euro Election Was a Pahor-Peterle Beauty Contest

Maribor, 15 June - Sunday's elections to the European Parliament were a "beauty contest" between Alojz Peterle (of New Slovenia) and Borut Pahor (of the United List), head of the Liberal Democrats (LDS) council Gregor Golobic told Tuesday's Vecer. People chose between personalities rather than political parties, platforms and agendas, he said in an interview for the daily.
