Ljubljana, 28 October - DNEVNIK: DUBROVNIK - The conditions in Dubrovnik are not distressing only because of anxiety about the protection of cultural heritage of an exceptional historical monument, but it has become a trial for the world community. It is no longer a concern for saving a pearl of architecture, Croation Athens, but is a matter of principle which international community must now face. The principle, that territory cannot be gained by use of force, which the EC had expounded while seeking a solution to the Yugoslav crises, was so far not implemented because of the differences in interpretations of the events, says Maroje Mihovilović.
