Prime minister receives group of businessmen

Ljubljana, 29 October - Slovenian prime minister Lojze Peterle today received representatives of the Kranj companies Sepmerit and Sava. Director general of Semperit, Wilhelm Schaefer, director general of Sava, Viljem Žener and direcotr of Sava Kranj, Janez Bohorič, and their associates, informed the prime minister about the concern Continental with its 48,000 employees and inquired about the prospects for development of Slovenia. Peterle described the present situation in Slovenia as the process of creating stable and competitive conditions for investment of foreign capital. The delegation of Semperit has come to Slovenia at the right moment, he said, for Slovenia favours foreign capital and gives it vast possibilities since it will boost economic revival and progress.
