Third Yugoslavia is not possible

Ljubljana, 29 October - Croatian vice-premier dr. Zdravko Tomac and presidents of democratic renovation parties of Croatia and Slovenia, Ivica Račan and Ciril Ribičič, met with a delegation of the United left party of Italy led by the party secretariat member and parliamentary deputy, Piero Fassino, at Otočec late last night. According to the ministry of Information of Croatia, Piero Fassino informed the participants of the new stands of his party regarding the recognition of Slovenia and Croatia. The United left party of Italy accepts the fact that Yugoslavia no longer exists, that a third Yugoslavia is not possible and that, granting the invariability of frontiers, Slovenia, Croatia and other republics of former Yugoslavia should immediately be recognized as international entities, Fassino is reported to have said.
