Drnovšek: No Major Territorial Compensations With Croatia - Unacceptable Preemption Right for Italian Refugees

Ljubljana, 18 July - Major territorial compensations in establishing borders with Croatia are not in consideration, and Slovenia will not consent to Italian demands for preemption rights for former Italian refugees to buy real estate in Slovenia, said Prime Minister Janez Drnovšek on a press conference Monday, explaining Slovenia's standpoint regarding open questions with Croatia and Italy.
