The Adria workers on hold

Ljubljana, 31 October - The aircraft of the Adria Airways company are still grounded due to recent measures of the federal authorities. The Adria Airways company, together with the Slovenian Air Traffic Administration, is working on the documents and measures to be undertaken, that would restore its normal operations. Since in this situation the Adria Airways company looses some 2 million USD daily, the Workers' Council decided to put all of its 866 worker on hold, starting November 1, 1991, until further notice. A decision was also reached that 213 workers should continue with activities that are essential for the minimal operation of the company. All workers, those on hold and those still working, are entitled to 70% of the basic revenue.
