Prisoners Abandon Planned Hunger Strike

Ljubljana/Dob, 2 August - Last week some media reported that the inmates of the prison at Dob were planning another hunger strike to highlight what they say are unendurable living conditions at one of Slovenia's largest prisons. However, the strike, allegedly planned for 1 August, did not take place, although the prisoners have many complaints.
