Commissioner-Designate Potocnik Holds First Meeting with Barroso

Brussels, 4 August - The first meeting with the future president of the European Commission, Jose Manuel Barroso, was an "interesting and fruitful exchange of views on the future organisation of the European Commission, particularly its role in overcoming challenges that await it in the next five years," Slovenia's European Commissioner Janez Potocnik said after Wednesday's meeting.
