Banks Hold EUR 9.17bn in Household Savings in June

Ljubljana, 8 August - Slovenian banks held household savings of SIT 2,199bn (EUR 9.17bn) at the end of June, up 0.5 percent over the month before and 0.9 percent more than in the same period last year. Tolar savings topped SIT 1,311bn (EUR 5.47bn), while savings in foreign currency amounted to SIT 888bn (EUR 3.7bn), according to the latest issue of the Economic Mirror.
