Olympics: Teja Melink Out of the Pole Vault Competition

Athens, 21 August - Teja Melink of Slovenia was far from reaching the final of the women's pole vault competition. She jumped 4.15 metres in the first attempt, but failed three times at 4.30, her personal and season best. The qualifying height was 4.40 metres.
