Ljubljana, 22 August - The fate of the Kosovar government's tender for a second mobile services company was not clear even after Tuesday's announcement by the Kosovar transport and telecommunications minister that he was annulling it. A day after that announcement, the Kosovar government advised the Ministry of Transport and Telecommunications to make further steps in cooperation with UNMIK and in line with the law, indicating that the minister cannot annul the tender himself. This was a relief for Mobitel, Slovenia's leading mobile services company, which won the tender through Kosovar partner Mobikos. Another Slovenian company to breathe a sigh of relief this week was Krka, the drug maker, after a patent lawsuit filed by US giant Merck was rejected by the Administrative Court.
