Athens, 23 August - Slovenia's Jernej Zupancic Regent squeezed into the semi-final of the men's K1 1,000 m flatwater kayak event in his Olympics debut on Monday. He finished his heat in 7th place with 3:32.552, more than 6 seconds behind the winner, Ben Fouhy of New Zealand.
