FM Says Croatia Missed the Chance to Join EU in Next Round

Ljubljana, 23 August - Croatia has missed the moment to join the EU alongside Romania and Bulgaria, according to Slovenian FM Ivo Vajgl. The two will enter the EU as scheduled, in 2007 or 2008, while Croatia has missed the favourable moment despite the support of Slovenia and certain other countries, so this has become a goal that will be hard to achieve, Vajgl told the weekly Mladina.
