Ljubljana, 24 August - Below is a schedule of events for Wednesday, 25 August:

KLAGENFURT, Austria - Agriculture Minister Milan Pogacnik is to meet with his Austrian counterpart Josef Proell at 7 PM as part of a working visit. He is also set to meet with representatives of the Association of South Carinthia Farmers at 4 PM. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - Transport Minister Marko Pavliha is to provide the ministry's reply to the opposition's interpellation motion at a press conference scheduled for 11 AM. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - New Slovenia (NSi) president Andrej Bajuk is to present the party's slate for the general election at a press conference set to begin at 11 AM. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - Marko Diaci, an MP of the Youth Party (SMS), is to talk to the press at noon to present a proposal whereby a regular session debating the government's achievements would be held at the end of each government term.

LJUBLJANA - Director of the Mapping and Surveying Authority Ales Seliskar will be joined by Information Society Minister Pavel Gantar and Minister of the Environment, Energy and Spatial Planning Janez Kopac to present the newly created computer access to geodetic data. The press conference is to take place at noon.

LJUBLJANA - The start of the annual conference on ethics entitled "Pluralism in Europe". Organised by the European Society for Research and Ethics Societas Ethica, a Christian association, the event is to feature about 100 philosophers and theologians from across Europe.

LJUBLJANA - The Pension Fund Management (KAD) is to hold a press conference at 11 AM to present the company's interim results and plans for the second half of the year.
