Olympics: No Final for Zupancic Regent

Athens, 25 August - Slovenia's only flatwater kayak competitor has failed to make it past the semi-finals of the men's 1,000 metres event. Jernej Zupancic Regent clocked 3:35.05 to finish sixth in his semi-final, not enough to get into the final. The winner of Zupancic Regent's semi-final was Adam van Koeverden of Canada in a time of 3:27.507.
