Ljubljana, 25 August - Below is a schedule of events for Thursday, 26 August:

BUDAPEST, Hungary - FM Ivo Vajgl is to pay a working visit to Hungary to meet his counterpart Laszlo Kovacs. Bilateral relations, the current global security situation and key Euro-Atlantic issues are to top the agenda; a news conference at 4:35 PM. (STA)

KLAGENFURT, Austria - Agriculture, Forestry and Food Minister Milan Pogacik is to attend the opening of the 48th fair of timber industry as a guest of honour. (STA)

STOCKHOLM, Sweden - Culture Minister Andreja Rihter is to start an official visit to Sweden.

SAMOBOR, Croatia - Slovenian retail chain Era is scheduled to open a supermarket near the Croatian capital of Zagreb, an EUR 15m investment. A press conference at 3:30 PM. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - Hardware chain Merkur is set to open a megamarket in the heart of Ljubljana's BTC retail hub. On this occasion the company is to present its semi-annual business results at 1 PM. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - The tourism company Globtour is to present its semi-annual business results at a news conference at 10 AM.

LJUBLJANA - The government is to hold its regular weekly session. Among other things, the cabinet is expected to determine the amount of dividends that the state-owned telco, Telekom Slovenije, will pay out. A news conference at 2 PM. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - The non-parliamentary Active Slovenia is expected to talk to the press at 11 AM to present preparations for the general election.

LJUBLJANA - US Ambassador Johnny Young and Bosnian Ambassador Mladen Bosic are to pay separate farewell visits to Speaker of the National Assembly Feri Horvat.
