Olympics: Pole Vaulter Rovan Out in the Qualifying

Athens, 25 August - Slovenian pole vault competitor Jure Rovan was unsuccessful in his bid to qualify for the final of his Olympic event. He managed the 550 cm mark in the second attempt but failed three times at 560 cm. To qualify, Rovan would have had to jump 570 cm.
