Olympics: Tina Carman Far from Long-Jump Final

Athens, 25 August - Slovenia's Tina Carman fell short of the final in the women's long jump event on Wednesday. After two fouls, the 26-year-old jumped 5.72 metres in her third attempt and bid farewell. She would have to jump 6.65 metres to qualify, or be among the top 12 in the qualifying round.
