MARIBOR - The STA is to release an interview with President Janez Drnovsek which will be published by the Maribor-based daily Vecer. (STA)

GORNJA RADGONA - The 42nd international fair of agriculture and food is to open at 10 AM, featuring 1,410 exhibitors from 21 countries on a surface area of 55,000 sq. metres and a number of round-table debates (Slovenia in the EU - priorities in 2004 and Europe's development at 3 PM). (STA)

MARIBOR - The recently set up Active Slovenia (AS) is to meet for a conference at 10 AM to pass its election manifesto. (STA)

SALZBURG, Austria - A three-day meeting of finance ministers from Slovenia, Austria, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia in discussing the EU's next budget and several other EU-related topics, is to continue.

SECOVLJE/PIRAN - The Festival of Salt-Making is to close with a traditional salt harvest, an event to be attended by mayors from Slovenia, Croatia and Italy at 4:30 PM.
