Olympics: Javornik 10th in 10,000 Metres
Athens, 27 August - Helena Javornik set a new Slovenian record on the way to 10th place in the women's 10,000 metres on Friday. Javornik clocked 31:06.63, over 50 seconds better than her previous personal best, which was also the national record.
