Ljubljana, 29 August - In a week marked by the publication of many companies' business results, the Competition Protection Office decided not to defend its verdict on the consolidation between the two Slovenian brewers, in which it had ruled that Lasko was not in breach of anti-trust regulations, but said it would draft a new ruling. Lasko is also among the five companies interested in the shares of Serbia-Montenegro's leading mineral water company, Knjaz Milos. Slovenia's leading retailer Mercator meanwhile submitted a takeover bid for C market, Serbia's largest retail chain.
