Rop Stresses Slovenia's Debt to Dissident Edvard Kocbek
Ljubljana, 27 September - A special ceremony at the Slovenian National Drama Theatre in Ljubljana has wrapped up the celebrations at the 100th anniversary of the birth of poet, writer, politician and dissident Edvard Kocbek (1904-1981). The Slovenian state recognises that Kocbek's work was essential to its foundations, Prime Minister Anton Rop stressed in his speech on Monday evening.
