SDS MP Cukjati Candidate for Speaker

Ljubljana, 22 October - France Cukjati of the centre-right Slovenian Democrats (SDS) has confirmed that he will stand as a candidate for the speaker of parliament. Cukjati, who currently heads the SDS deputy group, is confident that he will be elected. This is likely, as the parliamentary parties have reached understanding in principle that the SDS will hold the post.
