The Consuls of the Hexagonal Initiative: Slovenia should be a part of the Central European Initiative

Ljubljana, 12 December - The General Consuls of the countries of the Hexagonal or the Central European Initiative gathered in Ljubljana for the first time, invited by the General Consul of the Republic of Italy, Mr. Fabio Christiani. Mr. Christiani informed his guests on the meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs in Venice, especially on its relation to the solution of the Yugoslav crisis. "This meeting was of primary importance since it was generally recognized that one of the member states, that actually presided over the Initiative, does not exist any more. Instead, two new international subjects were formed, Slovenia and Croatia. Their cooperation should be supported and they should actively participate in working parties", stated the Italian General Consul.
