Ljubljana, 11 May - RIHARD/JAKOPIČ/LIFE/WORKS/50TH ANNIVERSARY
For the fiftieth anniversary of the death of Rihard Jakopič (1869 - 1943), one of the great Slovenian painters, teachers, and organizers of cultural life, an exhibition on his life and works was opened in the Križanke Cultural and Information Center. Members of three generations of the artist's family, as well as some prominent representatives of politics, religion and culture in Slovenia attended the inauguration ceremony.
