Four Years After Attack on Journalist, Conviction still Pending

Ljubljana, 28 February - It has been four years since journalist-come-lawmaker Miro Petek was brutally attacked in front of his house, probably due to his writing for the daily Vecer. Suspected assailants are in custody and a trial is underway, but any convictions, let alone the identification of the masterminds, are still far away. "I am still hoping for a closure of the case at court; hope dies last," Petek told STA.
