OTTAWA, Canada - FM Dimitrij Rupel is to take part in a ministerial of the Human Security Network (9 AM local time), and meet senators in charge of the OSCE and NATO, who are to attend a session of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly in Ljubljana at the end of May (2 PM).

LJUBLJANA - The cabinet is to hold its weekly session, to discuss amendments to the act on the National Council and the act on bank holidays. (STA)

NOVO MESTO - Sirpa Rautio and Ignacio Perez, envoys of the Council of Europe commissioner for human rights, are to visit the municipality of Novo mesto to get acquainted with the situation of the Roma in Slovenia; at 2:45 PM. (STA)

BRATISLAVA, Slovakia - Transport Minister Janez Bozic is to pay a working visit to Slovakia, to discuss the potential to boost cooperation in railway, road and air transport with Slovakia's Minister of Transport, Post and Telecommunications Pavol Prokopovi.

BERGEN, Norway - Outset of a two-day Bologna Process ministerial which is to review the process and discuss new guidelines for a period until 2010 and beyond. Attendance of Slovenian Minister of Higher Education, Science and Technology Jure Zupan.

WROCLAW, Poland - Outset of a two-day European summit of cities and regions, organised by the EU Committee of the Regions. Decentralisation and the role of cities and regions in job creation is to be discussed, with several Slovenian mayors to take part.

PRISTINA, Kosovo/TUZLA, Bosnia-Herzegovina - Chief-of-Staff of the Slovenian Armed Forces, Maj. Gen. Ladislav Lipic is to visit Slovenian peace-keepers in Pristina and Tuzla. (STA)

PORTOROZ - The Association of Supervisors is to begin a two-day meeting to examine operations in 2004 and plans for this year. Round tables on the country's economic reforms and the state role in supervisory boards are to be held in the framework of the meeting.

PORTOROZ - The four-day Microsoft NT conference 2005, attended by over 2,000 participants from 600 companies, is to wrap up.

LJUBLJANA - Financial group KD Group is to hold a news conference at 2 PM to present its plans to merge with KD Holding.

LJUBLJANA - A strategy for developing eco-farming is to be discussed at a conference organised by the National Council and the Institute for Sustainable Development, to begin at 3 PM.

LIPICA - A ceremony is to be held at 8 PM, to mark the 425th anniversary of the Lipica Stud Farm.

NOVO MESTO - The three-day conference of Slovenian doctors is to begin, to be attended by Health Minister Andrej Brucan among others.

LJUBLJANA - The new assembly of the Pension and Disability Insurance Institute (ZPIZ) is to meet for its maiden session at 10 AM.

LJUBLJANA - The council of public broadcaster RTV Slovenija is to meet for an extraordinary session at 12 AM.
