Press on Defeat of German Social Democrats

Ljubljana, 24 May - The dailies observe on Tuesday that German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder cannot do much to save his party after it suffered a devastating defeat at the local elections. The commentators agree though that the departure of the Social Democrats will have a major impact on Europe.
