Before Monday's session of the Conference on Yugoslavia

Ljubljana, 6 March - A final decision on the future of the republics of former Yugoslavia with special emphasis on the legal inheritance of the former Yugoslav Federation is to be reached during the continuation of the Peace Conference on Yugoslavia in Brussels on Monday, said President Milan Kučan at today's session of the Parliamentary Committee for International Relations. The President is to lead the Slovene delegation to the Conference, which consist also of the Slovene Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel and other members of the Foreign Ministry. The simplest method would to resolve the question of legal inheritance pragmatically, i.e. via direct debate on the allocation of funds and the division of property and membership in international organizations, as well as other open issues, said the President.
