Highest unemployment rate since 1945

Ljubljana, 15 March - Since the second world war Slovenia has not seen such a high unemployment rate as nowadays. The unemployment rate is rising, and the predictions of critical unemployment and a lack of development strategies are becoming true. At the Employment Bureau of the Republic of Slovenia the latest statistics show that there are 94,065 persons seeking employment registered. For Slovenia unemployment is a relatively new phenomena.
