Ljubljana Mayor Regrets Temporary Act on Bezigrad Stadium

Ljubljana, 27 September - Ljubljana Mayor Danica Simsic expressed regret over the Culture Ministry's decision to declare the Bezigrad Stadium in Ljubljana a cultural monument of state importance. According to Simsic, the state put a stop to the local authorities with the act, which prevents them from moving ahead with efforts to reconstruct the dilapidated venue. However, the Ljubljana municipality is not ready to give up, Simsic said on Tuesday.
