Ljubljana, 15 October - Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel this week answered Croatia's proposal for arbitration on the sea border between the countries, saying that the countries must establish trust before they can seek third-party assistance. Explaining the letter, Rupel denied that he rejected arbitration, although Croatian Foreign Minister Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic called the response "old news". In other news, Slovenia began stockpiling an antiviral drug as it stepped up preparations for a possible pandemic of bird flu.
