Ljubljana, 16 October - PM Janez Jansa and the government reform committee presented the planned economic and social measures to social partners. The reform package, expected to improve Slovenia's competitiveness, was preceded by Jansa and Finance Minister Andrej Bajuk outlining the budget bills for 2006 and 2007 to MPs. The week's highlights also include a ban on poultry imports from Turkey and Romania, which confirmed cases of bird flu.
