Ljubljana, 11 November - Below is a schedule of events for Saturday, 12 November:

PRISTINA, Serbia-Montenegro - Slovenian President Janez Drnovsek is to travel to Kosovo to visit several Orthodox monasteries, which would be granted special protection under his Kosovo status plan. The visit, during which he is also scheduled to meet high representatives of UNMIK, has been arranged in cooperation with the Serb Orthodox Church. (STA)

POLJCE - A ceremony scheduled for noon is to mark "the milestones of Slovenia's independence", with PM Janez Jansa as the keynote speaker. The event will also be attended by the defence and foreign ministers.

PORTOROZ - A discussion on Slovenian banks is to close the Days of Slovenian Bankers, organised by the Bank Association of Slovenia. A press conference is scheduled for 12:30 PM.

LENDAVA - Local fishermen are to stage a rally at 11 AM to protest against the authorities' inactivity in tackling problems in the Lendava and Mura fishing districts along the border with Croatia.

CELJE - Slovenia's Celje Pivovarna Lasko are to take on Spain's Ademar Leon in the 6th round of the Handball Champions League, Group B; game starts at 6:15 PM. (STA)

AARHUS, Denmark - Slovenia's Velenje Gorenje are to try and take first place in Group C from Denmark's Aarhus in the 6th round of handball's Champions League; game starts at 4:15 PM. (STA)
