Mayors Have Mixed Feelings about Govt's Two Regions Proposal
Ljubljana, 14 November - The government proposal to see Slovenia classified as two cohesion regions in the EU has triggered disapproving responses from the municipalities in the western part of the country, which would be classified as the more prosperous of the two regions. Eastern parts of the country, however, are generally pleased with the proposed division.
