Mercator Says 500 Jobs to Go Because of Sunday Shopping Law
Ljubljana, 18 November - Slovenia's largest grocer Mercator expects that its sales will drop between 4% and 8% because of amendments to the trade act that will limit shop opening hours on Sundays. The company has warned that it will have to cut 500 jobs as a result.
