Ljubljana, 20 November - Below is a schedule of events for Monday, 21 November:
BRUSSELS, Belgium - EU foreign ministers are to discuss the 2007-2013 budget framework, discuss Bosnia-Herzegovina's accession talks with the EU, and touch on defence issues. FM Dimitrij Rupel, Defence Minister Karl Erjavec and State Secretary for European Affairs Marcel Koprol are to attend.
LJUBLJANA - The National Assembly is to begin its November session with MPs addressing questions to PM Janez Jansa at 2 PM. During the seven-day session, MPs are to take a vote to abolish the anti-corruption watchdog and amend five tax laws.
LJUBLJANA - A joint press conference by seven of the nine in-house Slovenian Railways trade unions and the workers' council is to present the current state of affairs at the railway company; at 11 AM. (STA)
VIENNA, Austria - Higher Education, Science and Technology Minister Jure Zupan is to meet his Austrian counterpart Elisabeth Gehrer to discuss bilateral cooperation.
CRNOMELJ - A panel on the EU, organised by the Europe Direct Info Point from Novo mesto, is to begin at 5 PM. The event, expected to discuss the effects of the Schengen border regime on neighbouring Slovenian and Croatian municipalities, is to be attended by MEP Miha Brejc and Croatian Ambassador to Slovenia Mario Nobilo.
LJUBLJANA - The management of Slovenian Railways and the Railway Transport Trade Union are to continue negotiations in a bid to prevent the announced 28 November strike.
LJUBLJANA - A panel on the role of the media in a multi-cultural society, organised by the Peace Institute, is to start at 6 PM.
LJUBLJANA - A press conference by the Consumers' Association, the Health Ministry and those insurance companies that participate in the supplementary health insurance scheme is to begin at noon.
LJUBLJANA - Slovenian euro coins are to be presented to the pres by the Government Media and PR Office, Center Evropa, Bank of Slovenia and the Finance Ministry at 6 PM.
LJUBLJANA - "Slovenia Cultural Profile", the Slovenian version of the Cultural Profile guide, is to be presented to the press at 11 AM.
