Ljubljana, 21 November - Below is a schedule of events for Tuesday, 22 November:
LJUBLJANA - Armenian President Robert Kocharian is to begin an official visit to Slovenia at the invitation of his Slovenian counterpart Janez Drnovsek. On the first day of the two-day visit, he is to meet Drnovsek and Prime Minister Janez Jansa. Drnovsek and Kocharian are to speak to the press at 11:45 AM. (STA)
LJUBLJANA - Parliament is to resume its November session at 10 AM with a debate of the government-sponsored changes of five tax laws (income tax, corporate income tax, VAT, payroll tax and tax procedure). (STA)
BRUSSELS, Belgium - Slovenian Agriculture Minister Marija Lukacic is set to be taking part in a meeting of EU agriculture ministers that is to discuss reform of the sugar sector. The meeting is scheduled to run until Thursday.
PARIS, France - State Secretary for European Affairs Marcel Koprol is scheduled to meet French European Affairs Minister Catherine Colonna for informal talks that will focus on the 2007-2013 EU spending plan.
LJUBLJANA - EU food and veterinary inspectors are set to kick of a two-week visit to Slovenia aimed at checking Slovenia's implementation of controls at food processing plants.
LJUBLJANA - Minister of Higher Education, Science and Technology Jure Zupan is to outline the results of Monday's visit to Austria, where he met Austrian counterpart Elisabeth Gehrer. A press conference is scheduled for noon.
LJUBLJANA - Defence Minister Karl Erjavec is to present a new state and military map of Slovenia, and a digital relief model of the country at a press conference scheduled for noon.
LJUBLJANA - The management of the strike-stricken Slovenian Railways is to talk to the press at 1 PM to outline the latest developments at the company.
LJUBLJANA - The Slovenian-Macedonian commission for international road transport will be in session. A press conference is scheduled for 12:30 PM.
LJUBLJANA - A round table is to be held at 7:30 PM on the relationship between the Church and money, with Justice Minister Lovro Sturm, Maribor Auxiliary Bishop Anton Strel and opposition LDS lawmaker Ales Gulic among those expected to be taking part.
