LJUBLJANA - A mass protest, possibly the largest in Slovenian history, is to be staged against the government-sponsored economic and social reforms. Thousands of trade union members, students, pensioners and other reform opponents are expected to assemble in Kongresni Square at noon. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - Albanian President Alfred Moisiu is to pay a working visit to Slovenia to discuss bilateral relations with President Janez Drnovsek, Albania's prospects to join the EU and NATO, and current issues in SE Europe, most notably the future of Kosovo.
