PODGORICA/CETINJE, Serbia-Montenegro - President Janez Drnovsek is to meet during an official visit to Podgorica his Montenegro counterpart Filip Vujanovic at 11 AM, Parliament Speaker Ranko Krivokapic at 1:30 PM and PM Milo Djukanovic at 3:30 PM. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - Swiss Foreign Minister Micheline Calmy Rey is to pay an official visit to Slovenia. She is to discuss bilateral and European issues with her host and counterpart Dimitrij Rupel. The ministers are to meet at 12:30 PM, with a press conference scheduled for 3:45 PM. (STA)

BARCELONA, Spain - A summit of EU and Southern Mediterranean Countries, marking 10 years of the Barcelona process, is being attended by PM Janez Jansa. He is to stage a press conference at 3:30 PM.

LJUBLJANA - The Foreign Ministry is to open an exhibition marking 30 years of the Helsinki Final Act. FM and OSCE chairman Dimitrij Rupel is to make the opening address at 11:30 AM.

BRUSSELS, Belgium - A two-day meeting on the EU competition council is to get underway, discussing the 7th framework research programme, industrial policy and a directive on services. State Secretary at the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Research Janez Mozina is to attend on Monday, and Economics Ministry State Secretary Andrijana Starina Kosem on Tuesday.

LJUBLJANA - Education and Sports Minister Milan Zver and Labour, Family and Social Affairs Minister Janez Drobnic are to present their achievements after a year in office at separate press conferences, at AM and 1 PM respectively.

ROTTERDAM, Netherlands - A ministerial of the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) is to discuss state administration and its role in the 21st century. Public Administration Minister Gregor Virant is to be in attendance.

LJUBLJANA - A panel on education and research with a view of peaceful use of nuclear energy is to be organised by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology and the Nuclear Society of Slovenia. To be attended by Higher Education, Science and Research Minister Jure Zupan and MEP and Society's president Romana Jordan Cizelj. Starts at 4 PM.

BLED - A two-day meeting on changes in the agriculture policy is to be launched by the Chamber of Agriculture and Forestry president Peter Vrisk, Agriculture Minister Marija Lukacic and Minister of Local Government and Regional Policy Ivan Zagar. The event is to begin at 9:30 AM.

LJUBLJANA - A press conference by the opposition Liberal Democrats (LDS) president Jelko Kacin and vice-president Matej Lahovnik, who are to present results of studies so far completed by the LDS regarding the impact of government-sponsored economic and social reforms; at noon.

LJUBLJANA - The opposition Social Democrats (SD) leader and MEP Borut Pahor is to outline his views on the current affairs at a press conference that is to start at 12:30 PM.
