Ljubljana, 28 November - Below is a schedule of events for Tuesday, 29 November:

SARAJEVO, Bosnia-Herzegovina - FM Dimitrij Rupel, the OSCE chairman, is to attend an international conference marking the 10th anniversary of the Dayton Agreement, which ended the war in Bosnia-Herzegovina. Rupel is to chair a round table on what Bosnia-Herzegovina has learnt in these past 10 years. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - The head of the OSCE task force at the Foreign Ministry Boris Frlec will be joined by the director of Government PR and Media Office Matjaz Kek and Saso Korenjak, the head of the security and protection bureau at the general police directorate, to present the preparations for the OSCE ministerial in Ljubljana on 5 and 6 December; at 1 PM. LJUBLJANA - Slovenian gaming company Hit and US casino operator Harrah's Entertainment are to stage a press conference at 5:30 PM to unveil their plans for a mega casino near Nova Gorica. The two companies have already signed a memorandum of understanding. (STA)

BRUSSELS, Belgium - The final day of the session of the EU Competitiveness Council. State Secretary at the Economics Ministry Andrijana Starina Kosem is to represent Slovenia.

LJUBLJANA - Parliament resumes its November session at 10 AM. The agenda includes the second reading of the bill on the public information ombudsman and a resolution on the national consumer protection programme.

COPENHAGEN, Denmark - A delegation of the parliamentary committee for Slovenians abroad is to travel to Denmark to meet Slovenians living there and hold talks with Danish MPs; until Thursday.

LJUBLJANA - Finance Minister Andrej Bajuk and Health Minister Andrej Brucan are to present the achievements pf their first year in office at press conferences scheduled for 10:30 AM and 11 AM, respectively.

LJUBLJANA - Ombudsman Matjaz Hanzek is to talk to the press at 10 AM ahead of Human Rights Day, which is marked on 10 December.

BLED - PM Janez Jansa and Interior Minister Dragutin Mate are to address the participants of an annual meeting of state prosecutors. The event starts at 11 AM.

LJUBLJANA - The National Council is to stage a panel on higher education in the light of government reforms; at 10 AM.

LJUBLJANA - The executive council of the coalition Pensioners' Party (DeSUS) is to discuss government-sponsored reforms and preparations for local elections. A press conference is scheduled for 1 PM.

LJUBLJANA - The Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology is to confer the Zois Awards, the highest national prizes for science, at a ceremony due to start at 6 PM.

LJUBLJANA - The 21th Book Fair is to open at 6 PM with an award ceremony. Prizes will be conferred for for the most beautiful Slovenian books, the best first literary effort and best young translator.
