Rupel Underscores EU's Role in Caspian Stability

Bled, 28 August - Slovenian FM Dimitrij Rupel believes the EU can be a leading factor in ensuring stability in the Caspian region. Speaking at the Caspian Outlook 2008 conference on Monday, Rupel said that just as in former Yugoslavia, the EU can play the role of a "lighthouse" leading to peace and stability in the Caspian region.
