Maribor LDS Announces Support for Kangler

Maribor, 26 October - The Maribor fraction of the opposition Liberal Democracy (LDS) announced on Thursday it would back Franc Kangler in the run-off election for mayor of Maribor in which the candidate of the ruling People's Party (SLS) is to face Gregor Pivec, an independent who is running with the endorsement of the ruling Slovenian Democrats (SDS) and New Slovenia (NSi).
