Almunia Congratulates Slovenia on Smooth Euro Changeover

Brussels, 1 January - European Monetary Affairs Commissioner Joaquin Almunia congratulated Slovenia on Monday for successfully adopting the euro and urged consumers to be diligent during the changeover to the new currency.
