EU PRESIDENCY: MEP Kacin Picks Western Balkans as Key Issue

Brussels, 30 November - MEP Jelko Kacin (ALDE/LDS) said a key issue in Slovenia's stint as EU president in the first half of 2008 would be the Western Balkans, including the future of Kosovo. "Determining the final status of Kosovo will undoubtedly have a positive impact on conditions in the region, especially in Macedonia," said Kacin in an interview for STA.
