Ceremony Pays Homage to Mountaineer Aljaz

Ljubljana, 5 August - A ceremony was held at Slovenia's highest-lying mountain hostel, Kredarica, just under the peak of Slovenia's highest mountain, Triglav, on Saturday to remember Slovenian mountaineer Jakob Aljaz. The keynote speakers at the event were Parliament Speaker France Cukjati and Austrian Ambassador to Slovenia Valentin Inzko, while other officials were also on hand, including Prime Minister Janez Jansa and his partner Urska Bacovnik.
