Italian President Signs Decree on Bilingual Municipalities

Ljubljana, 12 September - Italian President Giorgio Napolitano signed on Wednesday the decree that was the basis for enforcing the 2001 Slovenian minority act in 32 municipalities in the Italian Friuli Venezia-Giulia region. Zorko Pelikan, the head of the Government Office for Slovenians Abroad, welcomed the signing later in the day.
