Greenhouse Emissions Up 2.1% in 2005, Agency Says

Ljubljana, 24 September - Slovenia's greenhouse gas emissions have yet again increased, according to the Environmental Agency. The emissions increased by 2.1% in 2005 over 2004, with most of the discharges (81%) coming from the energy sector, while agriculture accounted for 10%, followed by industry (6%) and waste (3.2%), the agency said on Monday.
