Trade Unions Announce Demonstrations for Higher Wages

Ljubljana, 25 September - The Association of Free Trade Unions of Slovenia (ZSSS) reiterated on Tuesday its demand that wages be adjusted to consumer prices and productivity at branch levels. The unions say they will stage mass demonstrations in Ljubljana on 17 November and, if their demands are not met, organise a general strike in January.
