FM Opens Renovated Embassy in Washington

Washington, 29 September - Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel opened on Friday the renovated Slovenian embassy in Washington, with some 500 guests attending the ceremony. Rupel stressed in his speech that Slovenia was 16 years ago part of the problem but then quickly became part of a solution as he outlined the country 16 years of being an independent state.
